MidWestBands.com is a website which exists to provide musicians in the Midwest with the opportunity to connect with other musicians and working bands free of charge.  It is also a site to showcase their talents and provide a wealth of resources to aid bands and individuals alike.  Formed in February 2002, Midwestbands.com is growing by leaps and bounds every month.  MWB also began offering advertising space to companies that serve the music industry in June 2002; it is a goal of the company to only display quality offerings from reputable companies.  We feel that if we offer advertising that is not reputable, or is harmful to the bands that showcase on our site, that our reputation in the industry is also harmed.  In addition, MWB does not sell information gathered from bands or potential advertisers to third party companies.  We are not impressed when that happens to us, so we don't feel right doing that to our business contacts.
