MidWestBands.com came to life in mid-February
2002; as a musician, I was looking for a band to play with, and found dead
ends in the area where I live, because there was no real source for
musicians to advertise their talents. At that time, I had the inspiration
to start this site. I wanted to provide a site that would serve working
musicians in the Midwest, offering a forum for them to list ads looking for
bands, or for bands looking for a particular musician. I also decided to
allow bands to showcase themselves, and that has ended up being a large part
of our site’s appeal. We started with no bands in mid-February 2002;
and have grown by leaps and bounds. The groups are very diverse, but they all have a couple of things
in common; a love for playing music and a desire for their music to be
heard!
We are also seeing some really good traffic
coming to the site! I am very excited about the possibilities, not only for
our site to aid working musicians in advancing their careers, but also for
potential advertisers like you who will be able to partner with us in
providing a means for those working musicians to advance! In my
estimation, everybody wins! Your company generates interest, working
musicians find good information and opportunities, and MidWestBands.com
continues to provide a valuable resource!

push and now RADIO ADVERTISING--all for only $20 a month!
I believe that we provide the ability to get
your message to a very diverse and increasingly large audience. We are
also attempting to reach those bands’ fan bases, with contests and giveaways
that will draw more visitors. Also, we possess the ability to target
regions with advertising. At this point, we have pages listing bands
divided by states; In a few of those states, we also have it broken down by
city. So, for instance, a potential advertiser in Indianapolis, IN can
target Indianapolis specifically, or target a larger region by seeking to
place ads on multiple pages. We will be very flexible in helping you to
target the audience you want to reach.
We will also be able to provide you with a
report to help you see the effectiveness of your ad campaign. We are also
discussing other ideas for providing advertisers with a vehicle to reach
their target audience. If you have any ideas on how we might be able to
